12/10/09 15:15:57 - Getting the Reserve auctions gone, and more upcoming changes @ BidFight!
Hello BidFighters!

It has been a while since I have wrote a specific newsletter targeting one specific subject to everyone so please bear with me. We are proud to announce that BidFight is soon approaching its 1 year mark! What started out as an ambitious project with Beta testers has lasted this long thanks to you BidFighters and we thank you for that.

That being said, it has recently come to my attention that the Reserve auctions aren't really a focus for people anymore as much as the No Reserve auctions are. And while we had up Reserve auctions so people could win 24/7 its not exactly panning out that way, and thus we have come to the following conclusion: Starting next week we will be releasing the auctions from their reserve through-out the days of the week that way they can find themselves to a new home. And due to this change, there will no longer be Reserve items at BidFight.

Auctions will run daily from 4pm-12am CST Ending at either on each hour, or every thirty minutes depending on how much we decide to auction off on that particular day.

Also concerning rules, starting January 1st 2010, we are changing our win limit system. While we love members whom have a passion for bidding, we feel everyone deserves an equal opportunity as everyone else. So Starting January 1st 2010 the win limit is being changed to 4 per week, and 2 auctions to go elite. We hope that these changes can help some of our less dedicated members get in on a piece of the action as well.

I am proud to announce we are nearing our 4000th member, and as such we are keenly looking into how to subtly improve BidFight, and we would like our customer suggestions!! Please contact us now using our contact form on BidFight if you have any questions or suggestions and our Customer Support will be happy to assist you.

We have been doing stellar no reserve auctions for the Holiday Season this year which has seen people winning for under 10% of the items actual cost on some items such as a few $500 Walmart Gift cards, video games that have been going for less then half the cost of retail, and more and more new winners each week.

We encourage you, if you have been holding out for any reason to come and try our no reserve auctions. Where new winners are being made everyday.

And don't forget we are holding a get 10 free bids contest this week for testimonials sent in!

Thanks BidFighters, for letting us help you have a successful holiday season!!!!

How does it work

BidFight is a fun and exciting way to buy top brands for a fraction of their real price.

BidFight is a penny bid auction site -you buy bids and then place them on the items you want to win, raising the price by 1 penny at a time.

If no-one raises the bid before the clock has reached countdown, you win, paying the final price plus shipping.

Each 1 penny bid costs between $1 and 90¢ depending on how you buy them - Registering and buying larger packages is cheaper.

Bidding takes place 24/7 Customer Service hours M-F: 10am CST - 9pm CST
