• It's Random Thursday, Don't forget to send in your new winner agreement forms!
  1. Newbie auctions
These are items that only members that have never won an auction at BidFight may bid on and this is an excellent place to start as there isn’t as much competition on these items.
  2. Regular auctions
These are items that everyone except elite bidders may bid on. This is in my opinion the perfect next step as it allows you to BidFight with members that are at the same level as you are.
  3. Elite auctions
These are auctions for our elite bidders (bidders winning more than 3 auctions in a week), however anyone may bid on these items. So if you choose to bid on this type item be aware you will be bidding against elite bidders as well so don’t get discouraged.
  4. NJ auctions
These are auctions that will not allow another member to jump in after the reserve is met and stealth the item. The NJ rule is that when the reserve is met any member that has 10% of that amount in bids in on the item and only these members will continue to bid on that item until we have a winner. So if you’re the type of bidder that doesn’t want to bid on an item and have another member come in and win in out from under you this is your type of auction. Just remember to get your bids in too because you never know what reserve is and you don’t want to be locked out if you want this item. Also remember that the glove doesn’t fall off as soon as reserve is met so it could be off and you not know it and reserve is random and is anywhere from a few cents to 1% of retail price.
  5. Down and out auctions
On any Down And Out auction, the second place winner becomes a winner to. After auction closing and admin approval, the second place winner will receive a DnO offer in their User Control Panel. This offer will be for you to either A. Get 1/3 of your bids back that were placed on the DnO auction (Down and Out). Or B. Pay real money minus the number of bids that you have placed to purchase the item anyway. C. If you over bid the price you will still have both options, however you will receive a penalty if you decide to order the item of 10% of the items retail value.
  6. Bidding at the last second
While bidding at the last second is exciting and lots of fun you run the risk of losing the item you want, so keep that in mind when deciding when to click the bid button. Computers sometimes lag and if yours lag while bidding it might not register your bid in time and you could lose item.
  7. Use your watch list
Use your watch list it will really help you. Pick the items you want to bid on and add to your watch list and you can keep track of them easily that way and it allows you to bid from here as well which is very helpful if you’re bidding on several items.
  8. View all auctions
Check view all auctions at bottom of the home page as we always have multiple pages of auctions running and you don’t want to miss out on something that you really want due to not seeing it.
  9. Set a budget
Set yourself a budget and go into a BidFight with enough bids for the max you are willing to spend on an item and be prepared before the BidFight starts to spend that amount and then get out if it keeps going.
  10. Your not going to win every one
Understand you’re not going to win every item you bid on! The most fun is in the game and if you come out with a prize all the better but have fun!!!
  11. Use the Ticker
Use the Ticker to your advantage sometimes random promotions and contests happen that are only announced on the Ticker such as 22% bonus bids. You just have to keep an eye on the ticker so you know whats going on!
  12. Have fun
The most important tip we can give you is to have lots and lots of fun and don’t give up. So you didn’t win the item you wanted for pennies you never know it might be your turn to win next time. So join us, have fun, and you won’t be sorry.
  13. It takes more then one person
It takes more then one person to begin a BidFight. Don't get upset if your item doesn't seem to be getting many bids. Items can be listed for up for a month before they are de-listed for inactivity. Just wait it out with the item on your watch list and be prepared to bid. Many items have been won just this past week alone by people who randomly bid and didn't even expect it!
  14. BidFight is Unique
BidFight is Unique. Things don't move instantly here like at other sites, well because you are bidding against real people. Other sites use simulated users and shills to attain the illusion that many different people are bidding on them at the same time, BidFight does not. When you bid its against a REAL PERSON!

How does it work

BidFight is a fun and exciting way to buy top brands for a fraction of their real price.

BidFight is a penny bid auction site -you buy bids and then place them on the items you want to win, raising the price by 1 penny at a time.

If no-one raises the bid before the clock has reached countdown, you win, paying the final price plus shipping.

Each 1 penny bid costs between $1 and 90¢ depending on how you buy them - Registering and buying larger packages is cheaper.

Bidding takes place 24/7 Customer Service hours M-F: 10am CST - 9pm CST
